About William Yuen

William was born and grew up in China, among a family with many artists. He studied at and graduated from 

Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Secondary School in 1964 and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. 

He has since practiced as a professional painter in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. 

His paintings have appeared in various provincial and national art exhibitions across China. Some of his 

paintings were selected and published in art books in China. His paintings are recently seen in "Documentary 

of the 20th Century Chinese Graphic Design" which is a joint publication of Chinese fine art societies and 

museums. He was awarded second runner-up in Oil Painting competition held by the Hong Kong Artists 

Society in 2012.

William now lives and paints in Hong Kong. He is happy that his paintings have brought art and joy to many 

families and homes around the world.

William Yuen，肖像畫家，身於出藝術世家，自幼熱愛藝術。一九六四年畢業於廣州美術學院附中，六九屆廣州美術學院本科畢業生。到廣州美術公司任職專業畫家十年。作品多次參加省市美術展覽，並由廣東人民出版社出版，發行全國；部份作品收藏於廣東美術館，納入由中央美術學院、關山月美術館主辦，廣西美術出版社出版的「20世紀中國平面設計文獻集」。八零年移居香港，繼續從事肖像油畫工作，作品廣為中外人士收藏。作者為香港畫家聯會會員。榮獲「香港畫家聯會30周年畫展」油畫組季軍。
